EduERP is modular with administration interfaces to easily to configure according to individual requirements. This helps institutions to configure EduERP for optimum utilisation.

Some key features:

Student Registration - Web based Interface for new students to provide their personal, sponsor and entry qualifications into the system and receive autogenerated matriculation (admission) number, e-mail address and Student ID/Payment card on clearance and approval.

Clearance - Admission Officers or Registry Staff can log in and view student registration applications and accept (clear), reject or defer the registration. On acceptance of the student's registration, EduERP will automatically generate student's matriculation (admission) number, e-mail address and student ID card.

Course Registration - Students can easily register their courses online. Based on the student's profile (Programme, Department and level) EduERP will display core and elective courses that a student can register for. The credit load checker ensures that students do not register more or less credits allowed for the session.

Automated Grading - Lecturers enter raw scores and continuous assessment scores and EduERP automatically computes total scores and determines the grades, grade point averga (GPA) and cumulative grade point average (cGPA) for a student.

Examination Processing - manages results processing from score entry and validation by department (HOD), faculty/school/college (Dean) to approval and ratification by senate (Vice Chancellor/Provost/Rector).  Integrity of scores and results are maintained by EduERP through this process.  Institutions' management can see submissions from lecturers, departments or faculty perspective.

Reporting - EduERP has a reporting engine for adhoc reporting and default reports including:

  1. Matriculation lists, list of students based on gender, department, level, faculty, state of origin or a combination of these parameters.
  2. Institution reports e.g. University Senate reports are automatically generated.
  3. Transcript Generation - Student results for his entire time in the institution is translated into transcripts automatically generated from EduERP

Hostel Allocation - EduERP can automatically assign and reserve rooms to students entitled to accommodation and confirm the reservation after student has paid for the room.  Rules governing allocation and reservation of accommodation are pre-configured in EduERP accommodation settings.

Mail Server Integration - EduERP is integrated with Zimbra, open source email, calendar and collaboration platform for e-mail accounts provisioning.  

Notifications - EduERP sends e-mail (and sms) notifications to students when they interact with the system e.g with applications, course registrations and e-mail address provisioning for first-year students.  Also once their examination results have been ratified by senate and fee payments confirmed.

Fee Payment and Reports  - Students pay their fees online with their EduPay Student ID card which connects to EduPay Payment Gateway.  The bursary department can generate fee reports directly from EduERP using one or a combination of reporting parameters that include: payment status (pending or paid) department, faculty, level, payment item, date, channel (bank branch, web , ATM or mobile), scholarship sponsor or type.

Reports generated directly from EduERP are realtime and remove the dependency on banks or 3rd party payment processors except in cases where reconciliation may be required. Integration with the other EduERP features makes these reports more meaningful.

Highly Customisable - EduERP comes with a feature rich adminstration interface that allows for configuration of numerous settings including opening/closure of student and course registration, staff role assignments, and granular course setup with number of continuous assessments (CA) for a course and percentage of total score allocated to CAs.
